Real Property
- Acting for purchasers and sellers of residential real property.
- Acting for developers of subdivisions and other lands.
- Acting for business and non-business clients in respect of mortgages and refinancings.
- Negotiating, and preparing various agreements relating to real property such as agreements of sale, mortgages options, easements, etc.
- Co-ordinated and reported on the titles along the MNPP Halifax Lateral Pipeline Project. Work completed over 2-3 years (1997-2000 +/-) and involved over 250 title searches (and twice as many subsearches) with standardized reporting and registration of options, deeds and easements.
Probate, Wills, Estates and Trusts
- Preparing wills and powers of attorney.
- Preparing Trust Agreements.
- Probating wills and advising personal representatives (Executors and Adminstrators) respecting the administration of estates.
Corporate Commercial Law
- Incorporating small businesses.
