Burchell MacDougall LLP announces Adam Harris as new partner

Burchell MacDougall LLP is pleased to announce Adam Harris has been appointed as a Partner with our firm.

Based in Burchell MacDougall’s Truro office, Adam graduated from Saint Mary’s University with a Bachelor of Environmental Studies (Honours) and Biology, before attending the University of Ottawa for law school.

Adam practices exclusively in civil litigation, including personal injury and insurance matters, debt claims, estate disputes, construction liens, labour and employment law, and corporate commercial litigation.

About his practice, Adam says, “I really like speaking with clients and hearing what their legal issues are and what dispute they are facing, and then talking through the potential next steps and solutions that might assist them in resolving the dispute and getting them the peace of mind they are looking for.”

Truro is Adam’s hometown, and he considers himself very fortunate to have been able to return home to practice law and build his career.

Adam is an active volunteer in his local community, including Chair of the STEPS on Arthur Foundation board (formerly Colchester Community Workshops Foundation), a board member of the Rotary Club of Truro, a United Way of Colchester campaign team member, and a Northern Opportunities for Business Limited (NOBL) Investment Committee member.
