Anne is an associate with Burchell MacDougall LLP, practicing in the areas of Wills & Estates and Estate Administration/Probate.
She takes great pride in helping clients navigate difficult discussions and troubling times, while also taking the time to understand the unique complexities of each client’s situation, and never applying a ‘one size fits all’ approach in her work.
Anne completed both her undergraduate and law degrees at Dalhousie University, and her career has included time in both private practice and working in-house for a national-level financial institutions, both in family law and estate matters.
She received her ‘Trust and Estate Practitioner’ (TEP) designation from STEP Canada in 2020, and has also completed extensive training in collaborative law and mediation. Anne is a part-time instructor at Dalhousie’s Schulich School of Law, where she teaches Elder Law and previously taught Family Law. She takes great fulfillment from working with students to help shape their studies and their future careers.
Anne is an active member of STEP Canada and the Estate Planning Council of Canada.
